Crafterglow: n. the satisfaction of a craft-well-done
I’m a 26-year-old college student who loves to craft. Well, honestly I’ve always loved to think about crafting, more than I actually put my hands to anythings. See I’m a perfectionist. I don’t like to attempt anything I might fail at. It’s quite limiting. I’ve let fear stop me from so many new experiences and opportunities to grow.
Well, that was YESTERDAY, and today I want to get my hands dirty! That’s where this blog comes in. This is my own little kick in the butt to get out there and try new things.
I’ve always been really creative and had an eye for piecing things together on a budget. I’ve always been excited by DIY blogs and crafting ideas. I love thrift-shopping and yard saling, and making something old into something new and unique. This is where all that comes together!
Here, I will share crafts and upcycling ideas to prettify your world on a dime, as well as my own progress on my projects and some step-by-steps. Everything I share will be fairly quick and easy to do (mostly because I’m impatient and busy), but I hope to show you that it doesn’t take a lot of time or money to create something really special. I will share my failures and successes as well as tips I learn along the way.
I’d love to hear from you and what you are doing as well!
Please feel free to send me or Instagram pictures of your finished products with the hashtag #mycrafterglow
or tweet to me @AliciaPileggi with the same hashtag!
It feels good to do something you didn’t think you could do. AND if I can do it, you most definitely can too!
Let’s bask in the Crafterglow together!
